Most system designers use CO2 sensors to indicate room occupancy as part of their DCV setup. The problem with this method is that it ignores the offensive odors and VOCs that may be present even when the CO2 levels are low. BAPI's IEQ Sensor offers the best of both worlds. It measures all the contaminants in the air but outputs a signal that corresponds to the CO2 level, allowing system designers to use their existing DCV algorithms. Available as VOC sensor alone or as a combination temperature sensor with optional setpoint, override and humidity. |

Wireless Universal Input Transmitter The Wireless Universal Input Transmitters take a hard-wired signal and transmit that signal wirelessly to a 418 MHz receiver. An Output Module connected to the Receiver converts the data back to its original form for the BAS controller. The Analog Input version receives a 0-5VDC, 0-10VDC or 4-20mA signal, the Digital Input version receives any dry contact on/off status, while the Thermistor Temperature Input version takes a 10K-2 thermistor sensor input. |

The green revolution is increasing the use of chilled beams and chilled ceilings in commercial buildings. The temperature of the chilled water has to be regulated above the space’s air dew point temperature or they will “sweat”, promoting mold growth and dropping water on the occupants and their belongings. The unit also helps prevents false alarms and compressor short cycling from opening and closing the door because it measures the temperature of the contents of the cooler or freezer, rather than the air temperature. |

FPB - Flexible Probe Bracket
The FPB is used to mount averaging sensors, low limit thermostats, or liquid fill thermostats in duct applications for probe diameters from 1/8",1/4" and 3/8". The bracket is used to reverse the direction of the flexible probe with a smooth arc to eliminate the risk of kinking the sensor and damaging the probe. |

BAPI Commits to RoHS Compliance
BAPI has been working since early 2005 to remove environmentally harmful materials from our products and we support the European Union’s RoHS directive, which restricts the use of certain hazardous substances, such as lead and mercury. Even though many manufacturers of HVAC/R monitoring and control equipment are claiming exemption from RoHS compliance, BAPI is developing its new products and has revised current products to comply with the RoHS directive. |
