Temperature Sensors

  The air temperature inside a commercial walk-in cooler or freezer may not represent the temperature of the contents. During busy periods, when the door is opened and closed many times, the air temperature may be tens of degrees warmer than the contents.
  With a standard air temperature sensor, opening and closing the door will cause temperature reading spikes. This can lead to short cycling of the refrigeration equipment which is harmful to equipment and wastes energy and money.
  The BAPI Thermobuffer Temperature Sensor eliminates the “spikes” because it approximates the temperature of the contents of the cooler or freezer, rather than the air temperature.
  The Thermobuffer features a watertight BAPI-Box enclosure and is designed to be mounted to the wall of the cooler or freezer saving valuable shelf space. It is available in a two-inch or four-inch length, 304 stainless steel or machined aluminum material and a variety of temperature sensors.

Hex Head & Pan Head Screws & Wall Anchors These 1.5” stainless steel #10 screws and nylon wall mounting anchors are used to attach the BAPI-Box or BAPI-Guards to drywall, sheet metal, wood or concrete walls. The screws and anchors are sold in packs of 100.
