BAPI's Zone Pressure Transmitter is an accurate, rugged and economical solution for measuring and reporting duct/building static pressure, room-to-room differential pressure or air velocities/volumes. It comes in a rugged, IP66-rated BAPI-Box enclosure.
The heart of the unit is a micro-machined silicon piezoresistive pressure sensor specifically developed for low pressure. The sensor receives a five-point error correction over the compensated temperature range for excellent accuracy, repeatability and stability – even at low pressures. With the short circuit proof output and reverse polarity protected inputs, this device is built to perform under real world conditions. The unit installs quickly by connecting standard 1/8” or 5/32” I.D. tubing to the pressure ports. The 3 Output Ranges and 10 Pressure Ranges are field selectable with DIP switches, and the auto-zeroing process is extremely easy (flip a switch, wait five seconds, flip it back and walk away).
The optional Static Pressure Probe Assembly connects to the high port of the Zone Pressure Sensor. The probe includes a built in surge damper which smoothes out the airflow signals or room pressure signals for a more stable reading.
Pressure Probe Assemblies The Static Pressure Probe and Total Pressure Probe Assemblies connect to the BAPI Zone Pressure Sensor to provide duct static pressure or duct air velocity. The angled total probe faces into the airflow to sense the moving air’s total pressure while the static probe senses static pressure.
Pressure Pickup Ports BAPI makes a full line of Room, Wall and Ceiling Pressure Pickup Ports, including the new Outside Air Pressure Pickup Port, to accompany the Zone Pressure Sensors. The Room and Wall units can be used for pressure alone or as a combination temperature sensor and pickup port.
